Environmental Impact Assessments (E.I.As)
Environmental Impact Assessment is the critical examination of the impacts a proposed or planned project, development or activity will have on the environment. The main objective of an E.I.A is to ensure that as the project, development or activity is being implemented, that it will be eco-friendly (environmentally sustainable).
Reasons for conducting E.I.As
As a part of the study we also do Baseline Data Collection, Risk Assessment, Disaster management, Rehabilitation & resettlement action plan, study on Economic and Environmental change on account of the proposed project.
Reasons for conducting E.I.As
- Identify impacts of a project, activity or development on the environment.
- Predict the likely changes in the environment as a result of the project, activity or development.
- Evaluate the impacts of the various alternative on the project, activity, development and environment.
- Lastly, propose mitigation measure for the significant negative impacts of the project, activity or development on the environment.
