Mr. Nichodemus M. Mwania
Projects Management & Coordination Officer
Nichodemus Maingi Mwania graduated in 2009 with a Bachelors degree in Environmental Planning and Management (EPM) of Kenyatta University Nairobi Kenya. At the moment, he is finalizing on his Masters of Arts degree in Project Planning and Management at the University of Nairobi. Since the year 2010 to date, Nichodemus has been the projects management & coordination officer at Kryptone Consulting Ltd a consulting firm based in Nairobi Kenya. At Kryptone consulting ltd his responsibilities include but are not limited to: managing the work of supporting and contracted staff, allocating and outlining the use of limited resources in an efficient manner, general human resource management, motivating the supporting team, marketing the firm locally and globally, meeting with clients, ensuring services are delivered beyond the customers' expectations among other general managerial duties.
Mr. Nichodemus has undertaken a number of independent online short courses in order to bolster his capacity in the his areas of interest. He has taken online self paced courses at Global Health eLearning Center which include a certificate course in Gender Monitoring and Evaluation; a cerificate course in Gender, Sexual and Reproductive Health; a certificate course in Geographical Approaches to Global health; and a certificate course in Fundamentals of Monitoring and Evaluation. At OSHA Academy, he took a certificate course in Introduction to safety management. Lastly, he took a certificate course in Negotiations and Conflict Management that was offered by United States Institute of Peace in April of 2012.
As an environmental planner and manager, Nichodemus has worked on various projects in Kenya. Some of these projects are as follows. While working at Mundu Agricultural Environmental Educational Organization as a Programme Manager, his duties were coordination and management of its day-to-day activities that mainly involved participatory project planning, community mobilization and coordination of the project activities implementation, programme monitoring and evaluation, project proposals developments, communicating with funding organizations, capacity building on the funded projects, identifying actions points and making necessary follow ups. Other duties included training of organized CBOs and farmer groups on sustainable agriculture and livestock production (organic farming) and liaising with other institutions at all levels involved in agriculture and rural development.
While working for the National Council for Population and Development as a research assistant, his duties were conducting structured interviews with more complex questionnaires, conducting structured observations, collecting data that required technical knowledge, assisting in monitoring study progress including updating timelines, enrolment and notifying research staff of adverse events, maintaining complete and accurate records and files pertaining to the assigned research study and Performing other related duties as assigned.
While working for Nairobi City County as afield officer his duties were validating and automating of Nairobi physical street address system using android and GPS devices in collaboration with Google Kenya Limited, collecting information on the city facilities for updating of the urban program planning documents, mobilizing local resources more effectively to facilitate delivery emergency health, fire and police services and site visits and preparation of site reports.

Mr. Michael E. Jumba
Operations Manager
Mr. Michael Egala Jumba graduated with a Bachelors degree in Environmental Planning and Management (EPM) of Kenyatta University in 2009. He has vast knowledge in Health Safety and Environment and Monitoring and Evaluation issues. Currently, he is finalizing his Masters of Arts degree in Monitoring and Evaluation of Population and Development Programmes. Being a co-founder of the firm, his duties at Kryptone Consulting Ltd include taking care of operational issues such as ensuring assignments under our areas of service delivery proceed according to plan, preparing articles for marketing purposes, Conducting research, innovation, quality assurance and quality control (QA,QC), accompanying the managing consultant to meet clients and strategy.
In the area of consultancy, Michael has been involved in a number of projects. They include: September 2015-May 2016, was part of the team that prepared Mwatate CDF Strategic Plan 2016-2020.November 2015, Contracted by Taita Taveta County government to device ways of enhancing proper municipal solid waste management at the county open air dumpsite-Chakaleri. The project is in progress; July 2015, conducted an EA for Wanmur Services Limited, kibera drive, kibera, Nairobi county. This enabled the client comply with EMCA 1999; Jan 2015, conducted an EIA for Paranga river Sand Harvesting project, in Paranga area, Taita Taveta County. This enabled the client to comply with EMCA 1999; January 2014 Conducted a general office and fire safety risk assessment for Travel Port Services Kenya Limited. These efforts enabled the client comply with the OSH Act 2007; December 2015, Conducted an Environmental Impact Assessment for Wundanyi CDF's Vighombonyi Health Center Project.
In the period May 2011 to May 2013, Michael worked for DynCorp International LLC. DynCorp International LLC is a defense contracting company that supported NATO and ISAF forces in southern region of Afghanistan under the LOGCAP IV project. His position was Waste Management Lead. Responsibilities included but were not limited to: Solid waste separation Combustible and Non-combustible, Metal, Munitions waste, Plastic, Cardboard among others, Packaging waste in appropriate containers, Heavy equipment operation (Bobcat), Writing the report of waste received and waste combusted, Inventorying materials and tools , Supervising my subordinates and ensuring company safety policy is adhered to. His efforts were of benefit to the company which achieved its objectives of supporting the NATO and ISAF troops during Operation Enduring Freedom.
As pertains to membership to professional bodies in Kenya, Michael is a life member of the Kenya Red cross (M004698); An associate expert and registered with the National Environment Management Authority (NEMA) (8180); Member at the Outcome Mapping Learning Community; and a member of the Evaluation Society of Kenya (ESK).
In addition to his professional work, Michael is a cartoon caricaturist and has drawn pictures touching on various issues such as environment, climate change and variability, security among other themes.

Is the Projects Co-ordinator, Kryptone Consulting limited. He is currently undertaking a postgraduate Diploma in Purchasing and Supplies at Kenya Institute of Management (KIM) , has a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology and Philosophy from Kenyatta University (K.U). He also has a Certificate in Entrepreneurship from UNESCO. He has 2 years experience in conducting Baseline Surveys, Project management, Environmental Assessments,Feasibility Studies, Business Development and Supplies Integrated Services.
Mr. Emmanual Mugambi Njagi
Research Officer
Mr. Emmanuel Mugambi Njagi graduated with a Bachelors degree in Environmental Science of Kenyatta University in 2015. He has working knowledge of climate change and climate adaptation issues. At Kryptone Consulting Limited he is the field officer and his duties are but not limited to: Reviewing of Environmental Impact Assessment Reports that were submitted to NEMA for approval after making the necessary recommendations in accordance with the sector and environmental concerns; Research Assistance through helping out in sorting and recording of data collected from the field; Field officer involved in collecting data; Carrying out office administrative duties; Project assistant; Sustainable development research officer and consultant and handling research in climate change and climate change adaptation research.
Mugambi's work experience is as follows. While attached at Mines and Geological Department: Ministry of Mining from Oct13th - Dec19th 2014, his duties were: Plan preparation process and approval of mining licenses, Quality control and Field preparations during mining; Reviewing of Environmental Impact Assessment Reports that were submitted to NEMA for approval after making the necessary recommendations in accordance with the sector and environmental concerns; Research Assistance through helping out in sorting and recording of data collected from the field and Carrying out field survey through Environmental impact assessment.
